    International Enrollment Checklist

    You're next steps to becoming a Mighty Oak


    Follow the checklist below to complete your enrollment at Oakland City University.
    Step 1: Confirm Your Enrollment
    Confirm your enrollment and secure your place by paying your Enrollment Deposit. (Required before your I-20 will be issued.)
    Step 2: Confirm Your Housing 
    Complete your Housing Application & Contract and submitting your required Housing Deposit.  (Required before your I-20 will be issued.)
    Step 3: Register for New Student Orientation (NSO)
    Register for New Student Orientation, required of all new students. During orientation you will receive your class schedule, speak with financial aid and business office representatives, and meet your future classmates. (Even if your flight and arrival to campus will not be in time for NSO, please still register so our offices can be aware of your attendance.) 
    Step 4: Submit Immunization Records
    Submit your Immunization form and documents (if you DO NOT have an immunization record, please read & sign the Meningitis Information & Disclaimer.) before you attend NSO.
    Step 5: Provide Final Materials
    Submit the following materials as they become available:
    • Final official high school transcript(s) (for first-time freshman)
    • Final college transcript(s) (for transfer students only)
    • Final official InCred Evaluation (for first-time freshman)
    • Official test scores or English Proficiency scores (if required)
    • Library Account Registration
    • New Student Forms
    Step 6: Activate MyOCU Student Portal
    Activate your MyOCU portal to access your academic, billing, and financial aid information. Your initial login for your student portal is as follows:
    • Username: lastnamefirstname (Example: smithjohn)
    • Password: Oakland2024

    Step 7: Attend New Student Orientation
    Attend New Student Orientation and become a Mighty Oak!
